Salvation is obtained through complete belief and faith in Jesus Christ alone, the God of the Bible; and what HE did for ALL humanity. Not baptism, not works, no physical acts, sacrifice, just being a good person, or anything that we humans can do to provide OURSELVES a seat in heaven; the sole requirement is pure and total faith in God and HIS sacrifice for mankind; accepting God into your heart.
Don't be deceived by the doctrines of devils:
"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful [WORKS]? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:" (Matthew 7:21-24)
Simply believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. This question was put forth to Paul and Silas in the Book of Acts:
"Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" And they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." (Acts 16:30-31) Nothing extra, no works. In this next passage, Jesus talks about true, focussed salvation amongst all of man’s broad open-minded spiritual inventions for works-salvation: "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." (Matthew 7:13-14)
Many will be seduced into a false salvation, through twisted scriptures or confusion from various extra-biblical, works-based doctrines promoted by false prophets; in comparison, few will truly be saved. This entire question was asked to Jesus in Luke 13:
“Then said one unto him, "Lord, are there few that be saved?" And he said unto them, "Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity." (Luke. 13:23-27)
Be not deceived. Salvation is obtained through complete faith in Jesus Christ; the cornerstone; the solid rock; the great three in one; the one true God; and his sacrifice FOR us.
*Now let's bow our heads and have a word of prayer.*
